GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Article 1 - Booking
Bookings can be made via our website, by telephone, by email or via our partners' websites. In order for us to be able to confirm bookings, you will be asked to pay the balance when you accept the terms and conditions of sale.
In all cases, the reservation is only effective after written confirmation and payment of the balance for the night(s).
The tourist tax must be paid at the end of your stay. This is a fixed amount per person, per night, which Ferme Boisquillon is obliged to collect and pay in full to the Treasury.
Article 2: Payment methods
Payments can be made online (via the websites), holiday vouchers or bank transfer. Payments by credit card, cash or holiday vouchers can be made for extras or same-day arrival bookings (bank cheques are no longer accepted). Any bank transfer charges are payable by the customer.
Article 3: Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be made by e-mail, post or via the websites.
For cancellations made more than 15 days for bed and breakfast accommodation or 45 days for self-catering accommodation before the scheduled arrival date, 100% of the reservation payment will be refunded, less a 2.5% administration charge.
In the event of cancellation less than 16 days before the date of arrival for bed and breakfast accommodation or 46 days before the date of arrival for self-catering accommodation, 100% of the reservation fee will be retained as cancellation compensation unless Ferme Boisquillon is able to re-let the accommodation on the same financial terms.
If the stay is cut short, the rental price is retained by the lessor. In this case, no refund will be made.
If, due to exceptional circumstances, Ferme Boisquillon has to cancel the holiday, an alternative solution will be proposed and the sums already paid will be refunded in full.
Article 4 - Arrival
The customer must arrive on the specified day between 4pm and 9pm. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must inform the owner.
Article 5 - Departure
Departure time, on weekdays and weekends, is 10.00 am at the latest. After this time, a late check-out is possible, subject to availability. Please contact us for details.
Article 6 - Length of stay
The customer who signs this contract for a fixed period may not, under any circumstances, take advantage of any right to remain in the premises.
Article 7: Bed and breakfast
Each room can accommodate 2 people. The two guest rooms are not suitable for babies or children. We do not have an extra bed for a third person.
For your comfort and peace of mind, all rooms are non-smoking. Meals are not permitted in the rooms.
Welcome products (soaps and food from the courtesy tray) are offered to guests. Household linen and bath towels are provided for the duration of the stay, and a surcharge will be applied in the event of failure to do so (20 euros per towel). We would like to remind you that the objects in the rooms are family heirlooms and we would ask you to be careful.
Article 8 - Breakfasts
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 am. Specific times can be arranged 24 hours in advance.
Article 9: Gîtes
Capacity: the present contract is drawn up for a maximum capacity of 2 adults with a baby or child up to 12 months for the Douglas gîte and 4 people for the Sologne gîte. The gîtes do not have baby beds or extra beds. If the number of guests exceeds the capacity of the gîte, the owner will refuse to accept extra guests.
For the gîtes, a deposit of €250 will be required on arrival for the Douglas gîte and €500 for the Sologne gîte.
Inventory of fixtures and fittings: an inventory of fixtures and fittings is provided to tenants in the gîte welcome booklet. This inventory is the only reference in the event of a dispute concerning the state of the premises. At the time of the inventory, the state of cleanliness must be noted by both parties. If the state of cleanliness is unsatisfactory, the tenant may demand additional cleaning on arrival. Similarly, cleaning costs may be charged in addition to the basic €75 if the gîte is returned in a poor state.
The security deposit: on the arrival of the tenant, a security deposit, the amount of which is indicated in this contract, is requested by the lessor. This deposit is returned 48 hours after the rental period, less the cost of restoring the property to its original state if any damage is found.
Any modification or termination of the contract will therefore be considered to be at the customer's initiative.
Article 10 - Use of the premises
The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. They undertake to return the guest rooms or gîte in good condition and must declare any damage for which they may be responsible and assume responsibility for repairs.
All enclosed areas are non-smoking.
Article 11 - Nordic bath
Barring adverse weather conditions, the Nordic bath will be reserved for you, with an entry fee of €30 per couple or single person. Bathrobes and water shoes will be provided for this relaxing moment. Opening hours are from 4pm to 9pm and are unsupervised. Children not accompanied by an adult are not allowed access to the Nordic area. Use of the Nordic bath is under your own responsibility and supervision. It is reserved for people staying in guest rooms, gîtes and members of the owners' families.
Article 12 - Car charging point
The Tesla recharging point is available for all vehicles with a type 2 socket connection. The maximum power available is 7 kWe.
Access to the electric car charging point must be planned according to availability between travellers. Electric recharging is charged at €0.50 per kWh, monitored by an econometer on the owner's electrical control panel.
Article 13 - Animals
For reasons of hygiene and peace and quiet, pets are unfortunately not accepted. In the event of a customer's departure due to the refusal of their pet, no refund will be made.
Article 14 - Payment of the balance
Consumption and additional services not mentioned in the contract or estimate must be paid to the owner at the end of the stay.
Article 15 - Insurance
The customer declares that he/she has private liability insurance covering the holiday risk.
These terms and conditions of sale may be amended at any time without prior notice. Acceptance of and compliance with these terms and conditions of sale are deemed to have been accepted from the moment the first payments are made.
